Paul works with entrepreneurs, business owners and directors who are looking to grow their businesses and often need to raise investment to achieve this. Many, but not all of Paul’s clients are looking to raise at least £250,000.

Paul has personally invested in eleven SMEs and is looking for more based anywhere in the UK, with a preference for the Midlands. Paul will invest across all sectors, but he likes businesses with new technology and large potential. Paul can, with colleagues, quickly assemble a supportive Board around an aspiring entrepreneur, so as to accelerate growth and improve governance.

Paul has an MBA from Manchester Business School and also studied Civil Engineering and Economics. He spent twenty years in industry with Blue Circle, BPB Industries, British Gypsum and Anglian Water (building products and utilities) in a variety of strategic planning and line management roles. He led a business start up at British Gypsum. After that he has worked with many SMEs helping them grow, become investment ready and raise funding, as a Regional Director at Beer & Partners Ltd, a Regional Manager at Connect Midlands and more recently as Paul Jenkinson Consulting.

Paul is a member of several business angel networks. Paul is also a keen golfer.
